I wear this daily because of how pretty it looks ! The pink is super light and soft, pretty close to the color in-game. The butterflies have a bit of a struggle to stay put but if you want you can sew them so they stay up all the time but I don't mind them falling. As for the skirt, the big effect can only be achieved with a big petticoat (I had one in the picture but it was a smaller one, I used my big one for a convention and it looks like the model in the picture)
Really if you want this dress because you think it's pretty or to cosplay your MC, go for it ! It's gorgeous and not uncomfortable but do mind you WILL NEED a petticoat to achieve the same effect as the model on the picture :3
It's a very fair and gentle pink, not a tacky bright pink. The fabric feels very comfortable to the touch. When you turn it in circles, the skirt hem will spread out, which looks very nice. But it's best to pair it with a crinoline, which looks even better!
Very nice material but going to have to add straps and petticoat under skirt for more shape as the fit isn't as flattering as in the photos. My zipper is functional but did not come with straps so Ill have to add clear ones entirely. Also overall color is lighter in person versus photos where it looks more coral. Otherwise, dokidoki's communication with me regarding this order has been excellent when clarifying shipping.
While the design and material are quite nice, I’m honestly very disappointed with the overall quality and the issues I encountered. I’ve ordered from this site multiple times and have always been satisfied, so this experience was especially frustrating.
Here are the main problems I faced:
- The zipper does not work at all, so I will need to replace it, which is an additional unexpected cost.
- The butterflies on the dress are too soft and flimsy. Even after ironing, they droop and lose their shape, especially the larger ones – it's hard to even tell what they are supposed to be.
- The costume completely lacks structure. To achieve the same look as shown in the pictures, it should have come with an extra underskirt or at least some support. Without it, the dress just hangs and looks nothing like the advertised photos.
- The package only included one shoulder strap, while the other one was missing.
Although the sizing is perfect and I love the concept of the cosplay, I’m frustrated that I now have to spend at least as much as the original price just to fix these issues. I hope this feedback helps improve the quality control in the future, because I’ve always trusted this site – but this time was a real letdown.
