The fabric is really glossy, looks so pretty in the light. All the details are so beautiful.
The panels are missing on the armsleeve, but i dont plan on wearing it so i dont care.
I want to start this off by saying the quality of this cosplay and visual is absolutely gorgeous and I adore it, there’s nothing wrong with it in those aspects! Also, something I noticed was that this cosplay was from ICOS and not Delusion Anime as I find most DokiDoki cosplays are and all of mine are Delusion Anime tagged so I’ve only ever experienced wearing those.
My main issue is the size. My go-to size is an L as a 5’5” 68kg female. I am not very chest heavy and usually never have problems with my DokiDoki cosplays in that sense. Skirts are also never a problem for me either even though I am a bit heavier in the hips and thighs when it comes to female cosplays. I’ve ordered from DokiDoki many many many times and this is the first time the size chart has been inaccurate for me. I always measure before ordering even though I know what size I run at DokiDoki and I always go up a size if it says to in the description. My measurements aligned with the chart as usual as a size L. I also always measure with the 2-3 inches taken away as well as the Doki charts normally say, still aligning with the size I ordered. Receiving it was disappointing to say the least as I was suffocating in this cosplay.
Measuring the cosplay at the size L it came out to about 86cm in the chest and 88-89cm at the lower waist/hips, not much room for stretch there as the skirt does not stretch at all. This aligns more with the Medium size (while pardoning the 2-3 cm as stated) which is compared to a US size small and I am not that. Compared to the chart, there was about a 3-5cm difference in what it says it would be.
I’m not quite sure if I should size up or just give up with this cosplay as it doesn’t say to and there aren’t many reviews about how this cosplay fit others. Another thing I’m thinking about is if I got super unlucky and received a size M with the labels attached saying it’s a size L.
