Be very careful about sizing up!! I sized up as recommended, but it's actually way too big! The coat is also quite long (I'm 164cm 52kg for reference) so even with the correct size, if you're shorter you might benefit from wearing heels or having the coat altered.

Tl:dr read the sizing chart but use your best judgements on your sizing, don't blindly size up!
I'll start out by saying I really appreciate the customer service at dokidoki for reaching out about the sizing in the first place.
HOWEVER!
I absolutely could have worn the size that I originally chose (small). According to the height and weight sizing chart, I fall between a small and medium. Doki recommended that I size up to a large. This cosplay is pretty comically large on me.
Don't get me wrong, luckily I can make it work. It's mostly the pants and vest I have problems with and those are easily replaced. The most that I can say is trust your instinct on your sizes here. I'm a stick, I have very few curves and my body type is pretty comparable to standard Asian sizing. If you're particularly curvy, I think you'd be fine sizing up, but maybe only one size.
Like I said I can make this cosplay work for me with luckily very few adjustments because I'm not about to go through the hassle of sending it back to get a smaller size. I am disappointed that I got the SR version and that "it'll do" is the mentality I have here, but the pieces like the coat and the bolo tie gem do kind of balance it out a bit.
