Get a size down from what you think you need

Female, with small shoulders and chest my measurements are as follows: height 165cm, weight 65kg, bust 91cm, shoulder width 41cm, hips 108cm and waist 88cm.
I ordered a M as it didn't look like my wider hips would matter so much with this costume, and after trying it on I wish I'd gotten a S XD
I will be sewing on some snaps/clasps as the (skirt?) doesn't want to stay up with the tie alone, and the front of the top gapes as I have a small chest.
The fabrics are GORGEOUS and very heavy (dreading wearing it for a summer convention- me thinking it would be more light weight than the Morax cosplay). The accessories are all metal or resin and it all looks amazing on. I do suggest getting someone to help you put it on though as those sleeves make life difficult.
